We need […] ViewWe advise no meat or dairy, simply because there are significantly higher e.coli and other health risks present in prep, transport, and sitting-all-day…also, we want to make sure there’s food for the vegetarians (carnivores can eat veg., but veggies can’t eat meat…).

Seriously, ever kind of glove has some annoying feature, oh well. Ok, I’ll post a reminder about syrup to the FB tomorrow. Are you getting any PB&J, etc? Let us know….we’ll post the rest of the list when we hear, and then buy what we need after we hear back about donations. Thanks! -

I heard from Jim yesterday and we’re good on plates, utensils, etc. Items he mentioned were peanut butter and jelly, water, paper towels, and food handling gloves if I could get them. I guess what I can get here at work didn’t work out to well? (latex or nitrile) oh yeah, AND MAPLE SYRUP!

I’m waiting on my rent check to go through before I make a shopping trip. ugh, paycheck to paycheck…
I did mention to Jim though that instead of buying water week to week, saving the water jugs and re-using them a few times and refilling them here where I work. We’ve got a distilled water system (for lab grade water)-it’s just filtered tap…[Read more]
